HP bringt neue Ethernet-Switches
Zu den vorgestellten Produkten gehört die Switchfamilie HP V1810. Die Gigabit-Switche operieren auf dem Layer-2 und ist in Ausführungen mit 8, 24 und 48 Anschlüssen verfügbar. Bei der Version mit 24 Ports sind zusätzlich zwei SFP-Module steckbar, das Gerät mit 48 Ports hat Platz für zusätzliche vier SFP-Module. Die Geräte können über den Browser verwaltet und konfiguriert werden. Ebenfalls neu sind die nicht-verwaltbaren Fast- Ethernet Switche der Serie HP V1410. Die Geräte erfüllt die Energierichtlinien nach IEEE 802.3az (Energy Efficiency Ethernet) und können eine günstige Lösung für kleine Unternehmen sein, die einen Switch ohne große Einstellmöglichkeiten benötigen.
