For Sale 1940 Packard, Series 1808, Custom Super 8, 148 inch wheelbase. Ex-American Legion Parade car, hence red/white and blue paint. Body is similar to the Henney Invalid Coach. Many original options including Packard Air conditioning, overdrive, side mounts, rear luggage rack, radio, heater, removable right door post, one jump seat. Original engine runs good and car yard drives. Many extra parts included, such as complete front nose including grill and cat walks,set of complete head lights. etc. Car is solid with the only rust out being in the bottom of the two fender wells. Hello Joe Block, I will answer you question on this forum and your other questions in a direct email you sent to me. The car is located at my home in Berne, New York, which is aabout 150 miles directly North of New York City and about 26 miles southwest of New York's Capital, Albany, NY. The AC is complete except for the compressor. All wood moldings are present on the windows. The trunk has the complete AC unit, and it does have the vent which comes up on the rear package shelf between the rear window and the top of the rear seat. This does not have a divider window, it was a 7 passenger sedan (have complete interior parts to return it to its original configuration), radio is non-original, and I do have the ac control under front dash.
