Treasuries Pares Advance as Fed Maintains Stimulus, Ends Bond Purchases

June 22 (Bloomberg) -- David Malpass, president and founder of Encima Global, talks about the Federal Open Market Committee's plan to maintain record monetary stimulus to support a flagging economic recovery after completing a $600 billion bond-purchase program at the end of this month. Pro-life and pro-choice protesters face off | The Jackson Hole Voice

Wednesday morning, protesters from pro-life group “Operation Save America” could be seen up and down Broadway handing out fliers and clutching large signs of aborted baby fetuses.

“You guys are losers! Go home!” yelled one man from his car to the protesters.

Some of the protesters’ signs were targeting Dr. Brent Blue, a family practitioner in Jackson who performs abortions.

But by mid-afternoon, a new group of protesters had sprouted. Interspersed among the graphic baby posters were young people holding signs about freedom of choice.

One woman said it was the graphic nature of the pro-life photos that compelled her to protest. “My child would be devastated if he saw these pictures,” said Esther Judge, 24, of Jackson.

According to Jackson residents Ollie Tripp, 28, and Eric Carr, 29, some of the “Operation” protesters were berating the other side, calling Tripp and Carr “homosexual sinners, who love men,”  because of the pro-choice signs they were holding that read “honk for pro choice” and “freedom equals choice.”

“We’re just here to promote the culture of life,” said pro-life protester Ante Parkovic of Charlotte, North Carolina. “Christians from all over are here, too.”

“Operation Save America” is a national pro-life group. The organization has become known for its “wanted” style of fliers the group hands out portraying doctors who perform abortions in a negative light. Some say that these fliers are a call for violence against the doctors. The group will be in Jackson until Friday, targeting Blue’s office specifically.

Stop mocking. PRO-LIFE IS THE ONLY WAY and they are NOT crazy. Crazy is thinking it’s I’m to murder innocent HUMAN BEINGS just because they’re in the womb. IT’S A CHILD NOT A CHOICE. EQUAL RIGHTS FOR PREBORN PEOPLE. The Baby is NOT a part of the mother’s body and is entitled to the same rights we are. I’m an animal lover but it’s heinous that we protect animals while treating our own children like trash.
